If your current FHA LOAN MIP is 0.85% and have a 30 year fixed rate FHA LOAN, the annual FHA Mortgage Insurance Premium is for the life of the FHA LOAN. The only way of getting rid of the FHA MIP is by refinancing to conventional loan.
