Credit should not be pulled until the loan officer feels confident that you fully qualify for one of their loan programs. A hard pull can lower your credit scores by 5 points or more.

Thanks for your question. We will match you with up to 4 lending partners who will call you to see if they can help. They don't have enough information to pull your credit until you give it to them yourself, so you are in control of that process. You can ask as many questions as you want when they call, and that doesn't require a credit pull. If it seems like you may qualify, the lender can pull your credit to give you that final analysis. However, that part is completely optional.
